I became a licensed massage therapist in Washington, DC in 2017 after studying at the American Massage & Bodywork Institute in Vienna, Virginia. I worked first as a massage therapist at the Watergate Hotel, where I developed a deep appreciation for hospitality and elevated service. Inspired by the treatments and standards I encountered there, I expanded my education internationally, enrolling in an esthetics program at the Qatar International Beauty Academy (Tajmeel) in Doha, Qatar in 2018.

My training continued across the globe. I became certified in Thai massage Levels 1–4 at the International Training Massage School in Chiang Mai, Thailand, in 2019, and later pursued additional modalities including Vodder Technique for Manual Lymphatic Drainage in the United States, Lomi Lomi massage in Hawaii, Shiatsu massage in Japan, and Maya Abdominal Massage in Belize.

I returned to the U.S. in 2019 and began my solo practice as a massage therapist and esthetician shortly after. In the early months of my independent career, I offered chair massage at farmers markets, provided house-call services across the DC area, and transported my massage table on the Metro to see clients as early as 5 a.m. and as late as 11:30 p.m. Through persistence and dedication to my trade, my practice steadily grew throughout my early twenties.

In 2020, I expanded my work into community service by offering free chair massages at protests I felt deeply connected to, serving as Chair of the American Massage Therapy Association’s DC Community Outreach Committee, and working with the Eaton Workshop to provide donated massage services to underserved community members in Washington.

At 24 years old, I opened my first brick-and-mortar business, Global Wellness Options, in February 2021 in a small Georgetown studio. The space and services I offered reflected my passion for the history, culture, and variety of massage therapy and skincare modalities. During this time, I worked closely with mentors, attorneys, financial planners, and fellow small business owners to build a strong foundation in entrepreneurship, while also taking business coursework at Northern Virginia Community College. To maintain my passion for the benefits of massage therapy to all who wish to receive it, I offered weekly gifted sessions to those who filled out a request form on my booking site.

In 2024, I opened rm wellness dc, my first practice with a team beyond myself. Today, rm wellness operates with a staff of eight, providing premium massage and lymphatic services in a beautifully renovated historic Georgetown building located within the Hamilton Collective. Our services prioritize an adherence to custom-tailored, individual sessions for each guest and complimentary add-ons such as premium aromatherapy from Red Flower NYC and jade hot stones. The space features rotating artwork from local artists, and was designed and decorated with my fondness for comfort and softness as the forefront. Rm wellness operates as an elegant and restorative space for exceptional massage services in Washington.

To support my latest venture, I traveled to Guatemala to complete my training as a registered yoga instructor. My newest studio opening February of 2026, rm balance dc, is a boutique movement and meditation practice designed to serve guests in need of supportive options for strengthening, stretching, and relaxation. Rm balance dc carries forward the same emphasis on comfort, personalization, and care that defines rm wellness.

Outside of work, I enjoy lifting, walking, swimming, kayaking, yoga, and Pilates. I maintain a written newsletter on wellness, mentor new small business owners, and spend my free time camping, cooking, planespotting, and exploring nature with my two dogs, Arthur and Margaux. I am especially passionate about supporting women in business, approaching mental health with compassion, and uplifting the LGBTQ+ community. I am in the process of completing my associate degree with plans to transfer into a four-year university to study business. I am currently available on a limited bases for massage therapy by request, as well as consulting for small business entrepreneurs in massage therapy.

I enjoy staying active, busy, and responsive to my community, and have plans for additional Georgetown-based ventures to complement my existing businesses that will be revealed in time.
